I realized today that I’ve unintentionally ignored drawing the physical characteristics of the water. I’m not drawing waves, wakes or anything at all–mostly just leaving the wet areas as the white page. Then I thought it could be pretty symbolic if I keep it up…the future water level is undefined. I also really like the minimalism of the drawings.

how long were you in amsterdam?
Just a couple of hours. I have a place there in September.
